Slim pickings in the Trafford centre. Couple of explorer 2. They have already sold the DSSD I just returned.

Is it just UK or are other countries have stifled supply from Rolex....?
Only I've seen a post in the 'watch' section of a well know motoring forum, from a guy that says he has close links to a AD in Norway, and reckons there is a similar issue there with SS sports models......so are other factors at play, or is really a UK only post-Brexit issue...??

When collecting my Daytona they had a BLNR, Sub LN and LV plus a new Explorer and none made the window as buyers were already waiting! From what I've found it's only the Daytona and DSSD D-Blue which are being delivered sporadically! |

It's across quite a few countries by the sound of it. Australia seem to be in famine as well. I stand to be corrected but the only place that seems to be awash with SS models is the USA.
Apparently Dominoes pizza will deliver you a SS Sub with any large meat feast !! :-) |

Holy crap, that's like $3500 (Canadian) more than I paid from AD for the D-blue last week. It is worth taking a trip to the US or Canada if you want a D-blue and the markup is that high. I could find you one at MSRP in Canada with a few phone calls from AD.

Was in Schiphol airport last week, both Gassons and the Boutique had plenty off SS models. Sub C no date, Sea Dwellers, Yachtmasters, Deep Sea, GMT but alas no BLNR, Deepsea Blue. Thought about picking up the Sub C no date as its on my hit list but it was 5,702 Euros which at the time works out at about 5,275 GBP which although supposedly tax free would of still been 275 GBP above UK list price.

I would refuse on principle to pay even the RRP let alone more from a grey market seller.

Ok, as an ex pat from the UK who unfortunately receives his monthly pension in, what used to be the old GBP......here is what has happened to me.
I hope this puts a few prices in perspective, and the gray dealers that probably have to source in the E.U. When I purchased one in Vienna during November 2015 the exchange rate I was debited by Lloyd's was £1 = €1.4183......Great price!! When I purchased during June of this year the exchange rate debited by Lloyd's was £1 to €1.283 Therefore my SD4K was already a little bit more expensive than the UK, but I have a super relationship with my AD in Vienna and hopefully this has now lead to...... My Daytona, due anytime now is. €11350 ...now at today's rate of €1.1247 it will cost me in my GBP £10,091.28....NOW THAT IS GONNA BE HARD. If I was in the U.K. at this present moment in time.....I would definitely be searching for my next Rolex. Get out there folks and get the one you want .......before the price goes up. Damn, I would like a white Milgauss,........but can't get over....Mmm, perhaps a couple of phone calls are needed? But the Daytona IS coming...... Last weekend Goldsmiths Nottingham had a SubC Date in stock as no-one on their list wanted it! I declined as I wanted the 114060.
Also last weekend Tarratt Leicester had a black GMTII in the window. Tarratt in Rugby had a SubC no date this week which I was able to grab. |

Was in Argyle Arcade in Glasgow today, no new SS sports models but plenty pre-owned, virtually anything you want (no Daytons or Batman though). I bought a brand new Sub Bluesy just before the prices go up next week.
Every AD I went in to confirmed the price rise, its official. |

Sorry didn't mean that rudely, it's just that all ADs I've seen in the last 6 months all have most of the following :
YM SS (Rhodium 37&40) and TT (most) Milgauss (most) EXP1&2 TT virtually everything Many have SDDS black and SDC. The stuff people are seeking out seems to be : ND sub SS SubC SS GMT2 SS Air King 2016 SS BLNR D-Blue SDDS Daytona C. So many posts about people spotting TT models and black SDDS etc but the above are the ones that are the challenge :) |
