Gift(s) with purchase?
When I bought my SD4K from an AD last week, though I wasn't given a discount, I was, however, offered a gift in the form of a Rolex golf towel.
Curious what other "gifts" AD's have given to TRF's with their Rolex purchases? |

My local AD didn't do much at all. I was basically told that the SS sport watches are selling like hotcakes and I was lucky that I was getting one at all. I did get them down about 5% off list and had them throw in a in a free appraisal...well, a new purchase report, which was a glorified receipt. They treated the transaction as though they were doing me a favor by selling me the watch. A little disappointing, so thinking of taking my business for a new BLNR somewhere else.

My AD hooked me up with a Wolf cub watch winder, and a stack of Rolex cocktail napkins on my last purchase. The winder, sadly, is steadily collecting dust.

I love those green ball caps with the yellow Rolex on the side. Those are pretty sweet.
All I got were some copies of the Rolex Magazine :-/ |

When I bought my Bluesy I got a nice discount and a small bottle of water. When I bought my Sub, I got a small discount (no bottle of water).

TT GMTc and I got a cheap, tiny store branded microfiber cleaning cloth and a bottle of water.
Hulk and I got stuff but unfortunately it was Brietling branded stuff.... gloves, multiple cleaning cloths and cleaning fluid. |

How do you UK guys get all the Rolex gifts? I was told that the bigger ADs dont get anything from Rolex themselves.
The only thing I had was a bottle of Moet and more recently in my post I had rolex service pouch and a Cartier cleaning set. A brolly or a key chain would be nice. |

I got Rolex handling gloves, but only after I had to go back to the AD to get the operation manual for my watch as a kinda apology.
They did also give me a bigger box for my DSSD because my Omega PO 9300 that I wore in to the store wouldn't fit in the one she originally tried to give me. That bigger box also didn't fit the Omega, so she then gave me a service transport case to put it in. |

I spoke to my AD about gifts. He's an AD but kind of a friend too. He says as ADs can buy all sorts of merchandise and some choose to sweeten deals with them as opposed to discount which Rolex monitors. However he says the merchandise is far from cheap.
However being in the UK, certainly on the most desireable sports models there is no need to give anything away as people are glad to get the watches. They come in and go back out. I'd be certain that On PM models it's different |

I inquired if the AD had any goodies to go along with my watch purchase. Mind you, I've only bought one Watch from an AD, BNIB at full MRSP+tax (DaytonaC)

Discount and typed appraisal for insurance purposes.
Far more useful (to me) than golf balls or an umbrella. |
