Delivery in Jan 2024 !

Looking at prices of some of the other brands now, $21k seems to be a "steal" for a SS Chronograph with a skeleton dial.

Wow I overlooked that somehow. One of the best releases I’ve seen so far in my book. Congrats

Tried one today, funny how the lights play with the dial

Teasers and new releases for other watches at Watches & Wonders

Good releases but this gorgeous steel LUC Chopard was my favorite.

L.U.C. 1860
36.5 mm
Steel
No date
Salmon dial
22,700 CHF

Unreal beauty and value.

Much better pictures (full resolution, these are just links - sorry) and a hands-on review, courtesy of Hodinkee.

Very honest answers from the young Biver too. BTW, "four days after the announcement of the Biver's first watch – at a production of only 12 watches a year – they had sold through two years of production".

Prototype to be sold at auction:

To be fair although I'm not a fan of the frontal aesthetics and bracelets, the finishing of the movement is beautifully done by hand. The other problem is there are many other watches to buy at that price point.

In all honesty, I don't care at all about the price, as I can't afford watches that cost one hundredth of that price. My point is only that the watch is much, much nicer in real pictures than in the horrendous rendering presented at first and this makes me happy becauase, as I stated before, I have tremendous respect for JCB and for what he represents in the world of watches.

So I don't know what's happening to me, but... they're growing on me. That bracelet especially just seems suddenly awesome.

Perhaps JCB is a genius, and he's just realised we need to shocked to move the pendulum.

Well, the price just went up to $25,000. Ridiculous just months after announcing the SS Reverso Chronograph.

I saw that price increase and it really pisses me off. I am on the waitlist and the $21,400 price tag was a really great value but at $25,000 I’m rethinking it. That’s a huge increase and it’s before any were officially allocated. It doesn’t help that JLC doesn’t hold its value at all. This has really left a bad taste in my mouth.

New VC release at W&W Shanghai that is currently ongoing. That Traditionelle is a sweet 38mm, plus some other art pieces.

I prefer traditional watches over wonders. Give me a black Rolex Sub.

I like the Lange 1 perpetual. If I had the bankroll that would be on the list for sure.
