Titanium Perpetual Royal Oak Discontinued

Just noticed that AP moved its Titanium Royal Oak Perpetual Calendars from "Current Collection" to "Legacy Watches" on their website. This includes the 26574TI, 26609TI and 26615TI.

They moved 30 pieces to the legacy part.
Also the QP in rose gold is not there anymore.
15500st in blue is still there, the rest were moved. :)
The special edition 10 piece set is now also in legacy, so are the the older 34mm ROs.

That is probably a sign that new pieces will be coming up soon.

I sure hope they eventually come out with a new Ti QP. That is my grail...many watches down the road.

Of course they will so sit tight. Ti QP with a new movement is definitely in the works, it’s not if but when

Pretty massive cleanup! Hoping that's a sign of some imminent announcements. Looks like the 26622TI (ROO flying tourbillon chrono) also moved to the legacy section. Didn't win the lottery in time to afford that one

Looks like the white gold 41mm RO with the light blue dial is gone. Was that a limited edition? If so....boooooo

I clutch my Tititanium QP a little tighter this morning. The comfort is really good due to the weight.

But it's not in the legacy section either, so hopefully just a glitch in the Matrix.

Hopefully! I personally think that is a really great piece that is a good alternative to the chronos or if you are not ready for a QP or Tourbillion and can’t get a Jumbo.

Totally agree! I just got the 26240OR on strap and contemplating wether to go for the 15510BC or 16202BC for my next piece.

My gut feeling is 15500st blue was left by mistake instead of 15510bc.
Let's see in the coming days.

To be replaced with what do you think Ash?

The Steel QP was next on my wish list until it sky rocketed up in price

The 26615ti salmon was a LE run of 300. Originally it was a run of 150 only for the Japan market then they decided to make an additional 150 for the rest of the world. Would have been near impossible to attain from a boutique. Saw one sell last week for ~170k in Tokyo, that was very tempting.

Would love for them to introduce a salmon BC QP.

Still love this in BC, can't imagine they would swap the salmon dial QP into this for me.

looks like they are modding the collections and website. There's nothing in the current collection as of right now

Now the Code Onyx tourbillon is awol. Neither in current nor legacy section, at least for me. Hope this will be sorted out soon, including some new releases, preferably.

Also noted that the white gold version of the new hammered dial tourbillion was put over in the legacy section. Clearly some internal issues on AP's end.

Now it is back on.
They have been doing updates in the last few days and before that had 215 pieces in the current collection. Now down to 184.
Let's see in a few days.
I am guessing new releases beginning of April after W&W settles off to hopefully blow out all other brands.
They kind of did it already with RD4 but I am guessing more stuff around ROO is coming up.

15510BC is now in the legacy section :(
It is updated to limited edition of 100 pieces but it says it has the 50th rotor...which it definitely did not.
I remember it was to be sold in Japan first for a few months and afterwards worldwide.

Maybe they are not done yet with the updates.

Weird. I was told it was a Japan exclusive for a few months then it would be available. On a side note, does anyone know if AP’s white gold is plated or solid? I think I recall hearing Tim Mosso saying it’s plated.

I can't imagine....hopefully someone that knows for sure can speak up. I don't know how they would do the frosted white gold and plate it, but I guess I also don't know how they would get the brushing and all the different textures in a plated watch....would have to be plated REALLY thick before the processed started.

But...I am not a jewelery maker and am probably way off.

Well, then it's solid for sure.
