Got my first pair of 2’s and they aren’t bad! I’m not a fan of the highs but I can do the lows.

Very nice! I saw these the other day in person and they reminded me of my Maison Chateau Rouge 2's, both in terms of color and material quality (excellent).

Can't say the same about the Chicago 2's.

Here are the pics.

My kid said he will wear the Tiffany ones.

FWIW, I got the shoes but the silver accessories were sold out. My SA couldn’t get it. I forgot to ask for them.

Very nice! If you don’t mind, where did you get the LV AF1? I bought a pair of those exact shoes 2 weeks ago on StockX, but the alleged seller never shipped for verification, so StockX just refunded me. I’m leery to try again.

We got it from the LV store. The manager asked my wife if we wanted them. She initially turned it down because we knew nothing about it. He then asked my wife again if she was really sure she didn't want it.

So we asked our son and he said of course we should take it. He is the sneaker guy.

One interesting tidbit. The first pair that we got actually has some little defect on the blue swoosh part on one of the shoes. There was some cut mark on it. They got us a new pair. They said the defective pair will be destroyed.

That’s great. Had no idea LV still had some to offer, given they were released a while ago. Getting a pair at retail is a no brainer. Even if no intent to wear, can be moved easy for profit. Enjoy!

I should clarify.

We got them quite a while ago, I am thinking summer last year? Probably when it was released?

I have no ideas about sneakers. I guess getting some of them are like trying to get Rolex watches.

My kid was telling me some of the lottery to get new releases are rigged. People have bots that enter. Is that true?

That's what makes it nearly impossible to get some of these shoes at retail. That, and the relatively small number available upon release for certain sneakers.

There are some pretty good articles out there about the bots and what the companies are trying to do to combat them. It's an endless cycle where companies improve their defenses against the bots, only for the programmers to build better ones.

Tried to get the big bubbles this morning…..literally hit buy right at 10est…. Struck out yet again… I have no doubt that whole thing is 100% rigged….

Not a sneaker freak, but is this old news?

Michael Jordan’s 1998 NBA Finals Air Jordans Already Have a Record-Breaking $1.8 Million Bid
And there's still six days left.

Is that your best bid Jesse?

Haha, if only...

I think a game-worn Jordan 1 would be the dream pair.

StockX came through with good customer service.

I ordered the Jordan 4 SB's and they've been stuck in transit from the seller to StockX for verification. I got tired of waiting and asked for a refund, which they were quick to give out. Now I just gotta find another pair!

I have lost out far more than I have "won" on SNKRS. Was pleasantly surprised to even obtain the XI's though it wasn't their lottery per se.

Though I saw MJ play as a Wizard, I try to forget those years so a game worn/signed version of the XIV's would be it for me.

My SB 4's finally came in!

The leather quality is very nice on these for a non-collaboration (I'm not counting the SB as a collab) and at initial try-on, they are incredibly comfortable. Stockx lost the size 9's and I got a refund, ordered a cheaper pair in size 8.5 and glad I did. Was originally thinking to size up do to the extra padding, but these 8.5's fit perfectly.

Highly recommend to those that are thinking about them - they're very different!

These are pretty sweet. I tried my luck on the Snkrs app when the dropped, but took an L!

I might have been considered a sneakerhead back in the day, like when MJ was still actually playing but certainly not now.
Serious question, do people buy and sell used sneakers ? TBH, the idea of bringing somebody's used sneakers into my home is kind of yuck.

Personally I only buy new with tags and box. Some people do buy used, mostly shipping them to other countries when I do it. I usually donate them to a local thrift store

Only new shoes here. I don’t like the idea of buying someone else’s used shoes either..
