What’s going on with the GMT lineup?

Left handed Sprite and todays new blk/gray bezel TT.

Not a fan of either watch but why isn’t Rolex giving us what we really want? The classic Coke. I feel like the lineup is saturated with too many iterations.

One will have to go in assuming to make room for the inevitable Coke.

BLNR, BLRO or CHNR. One of these will be discontinued.

Is a “Coke” inevitable? I’d love to see it come back but as it hasn’t by now I’m not sure it will.

If there was one question I could ask Rolex, it would be that - why haven't you produced the coke bezel in ceramic when you know the entire watch world is pining for it?

Every year it's the same anticipation for it, only to be letdown when they release a totally different color that no one seems to want - at least upon initial release or when compared to the coke.

I think the left hander was a good accommodation for people who wanted that. The new two tone is absolutely not my thing.

I don’t know, but they need to fix the lugs. Liked my BLNR but the lugs looked like saber tooth tiger teeth next to the jubilee bracelet. I think Rolex just threw out a couple of last second releases until they go through a major case update next year.

I think they are “stalling” until they revise that squared case to a more streamlined one, like the Sub, to simplify manufacturing (the 40mm cased Explorer was written on the wall).

Cheers!

It is pending. Rolex will make a Coke on the timetable that suits them. I am looking forward to it though.

The GMT was perfected with the 16710. Find a good example while you can and you won’t care what Rolex does concerning the GMT line.

I personally think they need to improve the shade of the red ceramic first but obviously the pepsi is extremely popular so many would disagree

I think the gold GMT is awesome.

The Coke I really don't understand at all. I'm surprised so many are calling for it.

Because Rolex can’t make the Coke bezel, thats why we’re not seeing it, BUT, should they crack the chemistry needed in the pottery department to make it happen, you can be sure it won’t come close to the vibrancy of the aluminium Coke insert from the 5 digits.

Ceramic suits some colour combinations on bezel inserts, but not all.

The ceramic CHNR bezel I think looks great. The BLNR has nice colours if it’s a combination you like. The ceramic Pepsi has never really been ‘on song’. Too many variations in its colouring as the years have rolled by and it’s why I seriously suspect that the Coke bezel is just proving too illusive for Rolex to produce the way they want it.

Happy to be proved wrong in the future, but if they release a ceramic Coke bezel and it’s not right, the release would be a disaster for them.

Yellow gold coke would have been nicer than what they just released IMO

Because Rolex is the Bill Belichick of the watch world. They are not going to do what the media and fans want them to do out of spite.
If they would put out a coke GMT and a SS Blue sub they would break the internet.

Now it seems they are trying to see how far they can push ugly new references until people stop buying them.

Why would one have to go?
Why not have
All Black
Red/Blue
Red/Black
Black/Blue
Black/Green
Black/Brown
??

I don’t see the problem with that. Figuring in Oyster, Jubilee, TT, RG, YG options that’s something for just about anyone.

Updated case with smaller lugs and all blue bezel, smaller numbers on the bezell, then I am back with the GMT!

Let’s throw in a glidelock while we are at it.

There you go, or a hidden claps on the jubilee?

The Easy E product development team can not surrender the easy link. Full clasp stays on the jubilee.

Who's "we"? You don't think a company as large as Rolex would've done the market research? The demand for coke is probably not high as you think.

A coke would be superfluous. The dark blue bezel on the Pepsi is a coke in low light.

Obviously Rolex personnel are dominated by Pepsi drinkers. Which is weird, because Pepsi is gross.
