I like the idea of the 37mm but I’m so used to my BB58 the proportions on the 37 seem off to me. Same with the 41mm.

BB58 fits perfect on my 6.7” wrist.

Tudor should bring the T-fit clasp to other references as well. It’s a significant upgrade.

There's something about the bezel of this one that bothers me. Looks like a microbrand bezel.

Good points. I didn’t even notice at first that Tudor has replaced the snowflake seconds hand on nearly all these new Black Bay models (except the GMT). Which I guess means it’s not such a big deal to me. A polished T-Fit on a standard 58 would have been cool.

I can’t believe they pretty much reissued the Tudor 7922/Rolex 6204 in the same size. That’s really sweet!

BB58 fixed what I considered to be a problem with the 41mm one: the color of the print on the bezel. The 41mm has white/silver print, with a gilt dial.

BB58 fixed that. I love it because of that fix, but when I tried it on, it felt a bit on the small side for me (given I am used to larger sizes now).

Now this BB54 has gone back to the white/silver print on the bezel. Not good from my point of view. But I don't have to worry about it ..., 37 will be on the too small side for me to ever consider buying.

(I am not criticizing the smaller size, I have owned and gladly wore 34 mm Date in the past... just nowadays my preference has shifted.)

Oddly enough, that’s kinda the only thing that bothers me about the 58. Most gilt dial Subs I can think of, like the 7922 above, have the silver/white bezel printing, and I prefer that.

yes I know... I guess to make it look retro they need to have white/silver print on the bezel.

Yeah, I just think less is more when it comes to gilt, whether vintage versions had it or not. The silver still matches the watch case, so it looks more balanced, to me.

I agree. He regularly wears much larger watches like RM’s. I would pick one up as a dressier sports watch for suit days. It would be killer on a jubilee.

I love it, but it looks weird to me so low and pressed up against the wrist, especially at that size. Here’s a better sense of what a 37mm diver looks like on a tall guy:

Be interesting to see, the 37mm Yacht Master looks tiny and very feminine to me, that's the closest comparison I can think of.

This is so much different, because it’s proportioned just like the original Rolex/Tudor Subs from the early 50s. I love it.

If it had the jubilee option it would probably be the perfect daily for me (7inch wrist). I'm really developing a preference for slim vintage proportioned watches.

It's been described as wearing like a 36mm Explorer, so I doubt it will look small on people with average or smaller sized wrists. It doesn't look feminine IMHO, but it's certainly a size that would work for larger wristed women (same as the Explorer TBH.

I really like it, I have to say.

I'd imagine the Uncle Seiko or Forstner jubilees will fit.

Does anyone know yet if we can buy the rubber strap as an additional extra?
Would be cool to have both OEM straps with T-Fit.
I’ll ask at the weekend but just wondering.

I’d assume Tudor will sell a strap that is deemed perishable (rubber) as a replacement so I see no reason why you wouldn’t be able to pick up the rubber strap as an addition to the steel bracelet.

I wonder if the Ranger bracelet will fit on this?

Because if it does I might buy it on rubber and then purchase that bracelet
