Did they change the case of the Sky-Dweller?
To me it looks like the 33xxxx released today with the new 9002 movement has narrower lugs that taper sharper. Am I right or is it an optical illusion?

Is the case narrower or is the bracelet wider ? I like it either way.

I really don't know. I only saw the pictures on Rolex site and noticed a difference, then found a picture of the 32xxx model to compare. It could be just light reflections so I hope someone here has a definitive answer.

Would love to know if the thickness of the case has changed. I guess not, but when I have tried them in person they have felt too slab sided for me. I have thicker watches, an SD4k for example, but that doesn't look as thick from the side IMO due to the profile.

Lugs seem much slimmer! (much better now IMHO) |

The pictures are not great for comparison, if the proportions were as seen there the case would be significantly more narrow also

Can’t tell. The dial sizes are different in both pics. Doesn’t seem to be a 1 to 1 photo comparison

From those pics, the update definitely looks like an improvement imo

Those pictures are different sizes. I suggest you size them exactly equally and superimpose a grid. This will tell you with a higher degree of accuracy.

Imho you can't really judge by using two very different pics due to lens optics and even 3D rendering could be slightly different. Optimally, you'd want to have both side-by-side.

If you have to squint your eyes to see it, does it really matter?

I thought most Rolex had assymetric lugs to balance the appearance due to the crown presense. Can't compare left to right lugs between two watches as shown above.
