Watches in the Wild Series....

I'm not sure if this has been posted before but this is a great series by Hodinkee on Watches in the Wild.

There are a few other episodes but 4 on the American Watch Industry and collectors.

I thought the America series was fantastic, especially #1 and #2 ! Watched them back to back nonstop.

Yeah, the first two were a pretty amazing look at the early US watch industry.

It's amazing the enormous buildings are still there in some cases.

The idea that the "assembly line/interchangeable parts" concept was the reason for both its success and its eventual failure was interesting.

The apartments in the original Hamilton building were quite unique and cool !

Of course, their car gets stolen in California .
