Looks like the black on black steel one is retired or am I just not seeing it on catalog?

The GMT with black bezel and black dial (116710LN) has been retired for a while now (2018). (Rolex did send the 116710LN models to some ADs a few years back that had the new green warranty card)

Still waiting on some better pictures of these to come out, but so far I'm not digging the black/grey bezel. Everything I have seen so far shows way too little contrast between the colors, especially under a lot of light. The whole point of two toned bezel on a GMT is to be able to differentiate quickly and easily at a glance. Hoping that as more pictures come out it looks a little more defined.

I agree, it has a very cool retro vibe about it. Glad to see a full gold jubilee

Way too busy with the TT jubilee. Makes me nervous.

Could they only afford to do half the bezel?

Looks like they pulled the design out of retirement from the 70’s, even the full gold looks odd with the brushed band and polished center links. Meh to me.

I think the two tone case would have looked 100x better on an oyster flex strap

Think we are seeing the last release until the new GMT case next year.

Not surprised really as they look awful!

That said, I think the option of the TT and full YG Jubliees are the big news there.
They YG GMT needed a unique dial imo. The dial is so similar to other items in my collection, where's the fun in that.

That's a bezel I'll need to see in person. On the first photo above, I see four bezel colors due to reflections/lighting.

Yea....I'm confused why they did the graphics that way. It doesn't look natural at all.

Weird color choice. Not lusting after this one.

Yeah, for a few weeks. Then it will go hang out next to the TT SD43 as a somewhat niche model and within 6 months it will be readily available as a 'relationship builder' piece.

Possibly. Maybe it will be the long-awaited Coke to finally usher in the 41mm GMT era!

I like the all gold on jubilee (very 80's) but not sure how I feel about the grey portion of the bezel.
