New strap

Put the silver snoopy on the speedy pro. Given my short wrists I had to source it from
Jean Rousseau. However, after purchasing the clasp from omega, they said they have a short version. That’s after a couple months ago they said they only had one size. At any rate, I love it because it gives that nato look without the added thickness and bulk of extra material.

Great choice! I did the same with my Speedy Tuesday. I also have purchased a half dozen straps or so to go along with it.

I got something similar on my IWC but they are a bit cheap and stiff. How does your feel? Do you have a link to that strap from the jean-rousseau.com site?

Mine dont last too long but I got a box full of them so dont mind going through one very 6 or so months until they dry up.

The strap is very good quality and is my understanding that omega sources the silver snoopy from them. I don’t have a link, as they make many products and did not see it there. But I called up and spoke to the manager in the NYC shop (Kelly Ann) and just asked for the silver snoopy. Apparently they must get these requests because she was like ok, no problem what size and color stitching do you want. The strap is a bit stiff because it is nylon with leather underneath so is a bit stiff as I have had it on for only 2 days. My only complaint is on my wrist the watch does not quite sit square, tilts ever so slightly left. However this is also the case with my submariner and may just be my wrist, lol.

I’m quietly seeking a Speedy strap for Chrimbo. These look pretty cool. Anyone had any experience?

Alright update folks. Given my 6.5 inch wrist getting the right fit can be difficult. I found with hole 3, it was too snug (leaving marks) and with hole 4 too loose (sliding about 2 inches). So I figured, I would take things into my own hands and drill a new hole...hole 3.5. I have no watch tools, but my black and decker drill did the job nicely. I thought well the strap is too nice to make an extra hole, but then I thought the strap was too expensive not to wear and be satisfied with...so I drilled it and the fit is now excellent!
