Icon5 Did the 1969 GMT Master come with an Oyster Bracelet?

Nearly ALL of the GMT-Masters I see have Oyster bracelets while one or two have the Jubilee bracelet. Someone recently claimed to me that every single GMT-Master with an Oyster bracelet originally had a Jubilee bracelet. Is this true? I understand that many collectors like the Jubilee but isn't that because of rarity? From what I've seen they came out in both designs.

I'd really appreciate the community's response

They came standard with the Oyster with the Jubilee as an option. For what it's worth, my 1970 GMT is at Rolex NY for a full service and I requested they fit a new Jubilee. I had to send photo of the 1970's Rolex U.S.A Jubliee (which I had not sent in) in order to get them to agree to fit a new Jubilee.

My bracelet says 93150 with a clasp number of 280.
Apparently this means it was a Submariner version of the Oyster.

I referenced the numbers with the chart the link provided:
The numbers did not exactly match together on the list provided but both numbers were only represented in the Submariner rows.
So maybe it was pieced together with the clasp coming from one Submariner version and the bracelet coming from another Submariner version.

If anybody challenges this assessment feel free to chime in.

Thanks again and especially for the speedy response.

The GMT came with either band, Jubilee or Oyster. Somebody gave you some erroneous information.
