NYC Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly wears one. I can confirm this photo. I sat next to him in a barber chair four years ago and saw it.

Since 1978 a 1675, I wear it every day; bezel only slightly faded (no scratches), markers still clear white, never polished (picture-shine caused by lamplight), fully cpl. with box, stickers, tags, warranty; nett-invoice (40% off those days !!!) equivalent nett USD 625,-, etc...........
Purchased a nice, perfect 16610LV '07 a couple of months ago..........feels like spring time when I wear it.......
I am 68 years old now; both watches are for my son, (now 41 years old) when I 'm deceased..........
