"Big Crown" Clasp Swap For 1016 - Possible?

So my 1960 Explorer 1016 sits very nicely on a 78360 bracelet which has better thickness than a riveted original (good) but has a clasp that is rather pedestrian (bad).

Wondering if any vintage experts can let me know if one of those sexy 'big crown' clasps from the prior generation bracelets (blue image) can fit on the later-gen 78360 in place of its subdued buckle (black image). This way I get the best of both worlds- the beefier Oyster bracelet and the articulated crown clasp.

Do-able?
