5170 thread

Hi. I started a thread about a 5170. It says it was moved, but I don't know where.

Sorry if I posted it improperly.

Welcome to the forum

That usually means you have violated a rule. What were you trying to do with your post?

The thread was ruined by two whose posts were inane and irrelevant.

You can try again and at least one member won't be able to chip in.

I removed it, it had turned into a train wreck, absolutely no fault of yours. As Paul said at least one of the problem posters is history.

I’ll chime in. One of my favorite watch dials is the 5170G (black dial). Those wg Breguet numbers and white subdials are exquisitely sublime. And while the 5170P does have its appeal because of the beautiful blue dial, there’s just something a bit sweeter looking about the aesthetic of the 5170G.

The only minor issue I’ve noticed when I actually got to play with one was the too light, almost tinny action of the pushers. But even that wouldn’t stop me from wanting one. Some day...

Thanks very much. I'll reword the post a little and try again.
