My old pm’s have all been deleted?

anybody know why my private messages have all been deleted. I don’t often get in here these days so perhaps that’s the reason, anyone know why this has happened, I had some important friend messages to get back in touch with, frustrating I

I can only think of four options.

1. Admin did it. Unlikely since I know him not to do such things.
2. You did it. Maybe/Maybe not.
3. You were a previous pledge member with increased PM capacity and when this lapsed, the resultant decrease in PM capacity cropped a perhaps-large list to the standard amount which is about 20.
4. A phisher has your password and has access to your account. This is not rare these days, alas.
