Back from RSC Taipei

Hi All,

I have never had any of my watches serviced but it was time for my 114270 recently as it was hard to wind. Took it to RSC here in Taipei for a full service, and couldn’t be happier with the results 3 weeks later. I opted for the polishing as this is a watch I will keep and also was curious to see what they could do. It went in with a lot of battle scars along with a bad polishing job on one half of the bracelet from the previous owner. The watch now runs great and looks brand new!

Attached a few pictures here, hopefully you can see the differences. Totally worth the money in my opinion for another 10+ years. Thanks for reading!

That’s great Jon. Glad you’re happy with the job. Out of curiosity did you get a service/guarantee card as well?

The Taipei branch doesn’t give out new warranty/guarantee cards. However, everything is properly documented in their systems for the standard 2 year warranty worldwide + a receipt with matching serial number on it. Great service overall.

Thanks for your reply Jon. I sent my 14060 to the RSC in hkg and didn’t get the card as well. I guess some RSCs do and some don’t. In any case wear your Explorer in good health.
