Not so much rare as less common.
There is a Wimbledon dial that is rhodium with green Romans that just came out this year and is unique to the DJ41. There have always been various colored Roman dials and stick dials but occasionally Rolex does something odd. That’s why I bought the previous 116300 DJ II with the rhodium dial and blue Arabic numerals, it’s just a little different. If I could, I’d add the DJ41 126334 with jubilee and get the Wimbledon dial. There is also a mother of pearl diamond dial for the TT DJ41. Those are probably way less common just based on the difficulty involved |

pretty sure you can order whatever you want as long as they are options. The sheer number of configurations is huge. So im sure there are standard models that get sent to AD's, but if you can order what you want while not common its definitely not rare since anyone can readily get it.

The blue and salmon dials are very nice. I think from the 70s-80s

I just ordered the new release slate dial with roman numerals on ss. My AD said it will probably take a little longer than the usual 2-3 weeks being it's an allocated piece. I've never seen it in person but betting it's going to be pretty sharp.

Lat week someone said looked at how many dial configurations you can get on the DJ and think he said were about 360, so many options to choose

Thanks, I appreciate the info. I showed my AD his price before I made a deal for a few $ less, he is familiar with him. It's going on 3 weeks so I'll wait another week then I might make a move.
