Japanese papers!!

Hi everyone! My names Jack, I’m new to here but I have a quick question that I hope someone will be able to help me out with...
Basically I’m going to look at a Datejust 36mm (16233) E series, the watch looks fine everything looks in order I’m just struck by the papers it comes with.
The seller is saying they are Japanese papers so I tried to do a bit of research but couldn’t find much about it.
I’m going to add a picture of them on here and I’d appreciate any help.
Thank you!!

The seller is correct they are just the warranty paper but printed in Japanese and now just a outdated warranty paper the other is a RSC service paper.

Welcome. I'm going to guess that the top pic is a guarantee that came with the watch; which was later serviced in '98, as evidenced by the receipt.

It is Japanese and all sounds natural/authentic.
The phone numbers for the stores in different cities on the repair page are correct for that time. (An extra digit was added soon after).
The store and location for the purchase are blacked out.
The warranty was for two years and only within Japan.

Amazing! So you’d say I have nothing to worry about?
And these are as good as any other papers?
Thank you all so much for you fast responses!

Or is it just a warranty paper and not a authenticity paper?

I would feel safe with it.
I just called the first number (Tokyo) on the repair sheet. It’s after hours now but the answer machine greeting was ‘Japan Rolex’, and then gave opening hours.

Rolex doesn't do certificates of authenticity. Where's the watch? That's the most important thing - Let's see that puppy!

The so called papers are nothing more than a now outdated warranty just like you get with everyday products like say a TV.And no matter what country or language the warranty is written they all come from one place Switzerland, always buy the seller first and not bits of paper.

And back to your last reply..
This is all a bit knew to me and I’ve always thought that the certificate you get
When you buy a Rolex is to prove its authenticity? Is that not the case?

It's provenance sure and nice to have. It's also easy to fake. And it's quite possible the papers are real but the watch is fake, or a miss mash of parts. All I'd do is check the serial on the watch matches the paper (you'll have to remove the bracelet). Post pics if you can and enjoy. If anything looks off about the watch you'll be informed. We're quite an eagle-eyed bunch.

Cannot understand why posting pictures is very very simple,if picture is on computer just open picture with say paint. Then resize to around 1000X1000 pixels then click save,or join a free hosting site like Imur upload picture they will resize it then just copy the forum code img code and post in the reply box again very simple to do.Plus there are hundreds of free apps for every device to resize any picture format again all very simple to use.

Serial number is the same as what’s on the papers, so I think I’m going to go for it. The watch is in good condition as well.

Those paper looks identical to my submariner paper. The top paper was the warranty paper.
The bottom paper is the receipt for servicing the watch.
