Sorry to hear about this. We had a cat that was diagnosed with kidney failure. We were able to give fluid subcutaneously daily and he was active for 3 more years.

Very sorry. I lost my wife 5 years ago next month (in fact, holiday decorations bring back a lot of memories for me, as she spent the holidays at home on hospice care). My two cats--both of whom are now gone also--helped me get through that much more than I would ever have expected. My thoughts are with you.
