It's not, unless they swapped the bezel to a coin edge:

Please drop the Snowflake Hands!! Or at least switch the Lume Plots back to the diamond shape.

PVD stands for Physical Vapor Deposition. The coating is affixed to the watch in a vacume chamber. The coating (or layers) is a carbon deposition. It was originally used to produce anti glare finishes (probably for the military).

Hope this helps!

Don't like the bronze

PVD BB looks great! Especially with the Single red text!

Unfortunately I don't think I could live with those snowflake hands otherwise I'd have one already!

Wow guess I'm the only one not feeling these two models.
Blacked out version looks cool, but I would NEVER buy a PVD coated watch.
The bronze model looks terrible IMO and @43mm!
Nice try Tudor, but you let me down this time.

Hope Rolex makes up for this....we'll see.

I dont like either as well, i think the black bay has been done to its death. how many times can you reinvent the same watch albeit with the in house movement but its still the same watch..Tudor=fail for me!! Theres always Rolex 😂

You got me there, but i think the difference is that they are all so damn sexy while the tudor is just boring imho... For the price point however it appears to be a good value for an in house movement! Im naturally a bit bias but have to say the pelagos does intrigue me a bit😀

Snowflake hands and round lume plots go together like a Milkshake and Sushi.

When I saw the Black Bay for the first time I also didn't care for the snowflakes. But they do grow on you and now I think they look great.

bronze destroys the BB dark

BB dark looks and sounds VERY Breitling " not that thats a bad thing"

the bronze? damn thats essentially a rolex sub in bronze with a 43 case. the Tudor in house is the real deal.....

they are about as likely to bring back the mercedes hands as they are the rolex crown which isn't going to happen - I like the snowflake hands myself as well
