So I am guessing it's still 38mm (even though they say it's 40mm)?

Hardest choice is whether to get the black or white dial. Beautiful watch, surprised by the release, pleasantly.

Wow... Simply gorgeous. An absolute stunner by Rolex!

New grail watch, no doubt.

Yes; with aftermarket ceramic bezels available already similar to the one in the Platona:

Won't be long before they made one in black, so likely 16520 are going up in price 😉

Looks great, my only reservation is when comparing it against the PM models it clear they haven't increase the case size so not sure if the black bezel will make it wesr bigger or small (hopefully not smaller)

Any thoughts on what this will now do for current 166520 values?

going to be really interesting to see what, if anything, happens to the 16520 and 116520. i have been seriously contemplating a 16520 but now i want the ceramic. im a vintage guy and have never really been interested in modern Rolex but i am very interested in this! i think the 116520 is really going to take a hit.

I agree, I think the 116520 will take a hit on the gray market. Although I feel the price of the Daytona is too high anyways.

It's going to be really hard to get your hands on one of these. I can't wait to see the markup at Tourneau.
