Who is tempted by Tudor's "Doc Savage"?
Never really considered the Black Bay before which is why I went for a Pelagos but I am really liking the Black Bay Bronze or for me the "Doc Savage"
I don't have the biggest wrist and it's 43mm will probably be a little on the large side. I have an Explorer II 216570 at 42mm but given the extra depth the in house movement gave the Pelagos the Bronze Bay may look a bit bulky. Opinions? |

but Pelagos has a depth rating of 500... Black Bay only 200... so maybe it can retain the height?

You're right about their depth rating but I have had both old and currently a new Pelagos and the in house movement has made a noticeable difference to the height of the caseback

The updated BB's are too big (and potentially too thick) for me. Not referencing the new 36mm BB's with that comment.

something about the BB design that doesn't match up well with the bronze for me.

VaRobot - "no knife posts" -- see the rules.
"Doc Savage?" I don't know what that's referring to, but this bronze watch is known as the "UPS." |
