Is the DJ2 blue a dress watch or a sports watch? Or both?

I believe you could dress that watch up, or down.

Gorgeous watch. Could be worn in both style but it’s more dress than sport to me. That bezel just attracts a lot of attention.

I think this one is. Romans make it more dressy for me.

While it is not a dress watch (traditionally anything on a bracelet isn't a dress watch in my eyes) it can be both dressed up and dressed down.

I have the DJIIwith Azurro blue with Romans and dont care for it in a casual setting. It serves as a dress watch for me.

Both. Maybe not perfect with a tux, but close enough.

Definitely can be used for both!!! Wear it in good health!!! I love mine!!! The case on the DJ 2 feels much better on my wrist than the new DJ 41.

The DJ2 fluted is one the most versatile models in my opinion.

I’d consider it more dress than sports.

a watch for a tux would be a dress watch. Sports watch is what a DJ is.

Its more casual than a dress watch... just like a sports jacket is still dressy but its not a tux. You dont play sports in it though just because it has the word sports.

The irony is its the same idea as a nautilus (smart casual) but because its one of the most casual Pateks no one would dream of calling it a dress watch. The reverse is true for Rolex. Its one of the more smart looking watches vs the professional watches so people then call it a dress watch. They are both quite similar in intent though IMO.

It’s actually neither but you can wear it with pretty much whatever you want outside of formal wear.

Beautiful watch! Could wear anywhere. I agree the Roman numerals dress it up.

I like it! It also depends on which dial you have. I agree, the Roman makes it a little more formal than sports.
