It's a near perfect example of a no nonsense utilitarian sports watch. No cyclops, no superfluous text, no gimmicks.

Quality and purity of design unrivaled.

Well said. I've read tons of reviews and commentary both before and after I bought mine. IMO this is the most spot on assessment/description of the 14060M that I've run across. That's likely because your comments ring 100% true with my thoughts/feelings on the 14060M (though I don't recall ever describing them as eloquently)

When I was looking, I came across a few. They seemed to be around the ‘02-‘04 mark I think. Lovely watch you have!!

Glad it inspired you- it’s a stunning watch! Do you have something else you usually wear?

Thanks for the nice comments guys!

Beautiful! I just picked up a random serial 4-liner the other day and I’ve been really enjoying it!

Congratulations.
It’s my favorite watch. Mine is 14060m 2 liner. I have four other Rolex models, but always seem to reach for this one.

Same here. Many have come and gone but my two liner will stay until the end.

Congrats OP! A 14060M 2-liner is my one and only that I wear 24/7/365.

This seems to be a mutual feeling amongst owners. I’m not planning in mine going anywhere!

Yes, this is what I decided in the end. It’s an ‘05 with the movement you’d find in the current 114060 being the 3130, but with all the style, proportions and things I love about the 5 digit whilst still retaining the all important 2 lines of text IMO. It’s a nice combo.

It’s a fantastic watch, I love having it on my wrist. It’s just so classic and right!

Just as an aside, the red hang tag shown would indicate that the watch was COSC tested. The 2-line 14060 models of course weren't sent for COSC, hence the very reason for their "2 lines".

I only mention this only as an example of why buying the "full set" is less important than buying the watch.

Watches are created by Rolex.

In the preowned market full sets are often created.

I didn't know this - good details, thanks!

For sure, I’m glad I held out. It’s a big purchase, hopefully be with me for a very long time!

It’s actually an F.
Very very nice piece. By the way, which is the difference between a Z or an F ?

Simply means which year the watch was produced.
