Need advice: Can Rolex Sea Dweller 50th anniversary can become worthy in the future?

Hi there, i am newbie in this forum.

I need some advices about Rolex Sea Dweller 50th anniversary for future investment.

Looking back at Submariner 50th anniversary (Kermit), will Sea Dweller 50th anniversary follow this popularity in the future? Will it become worthy and collectible?

Thanks

Stock and real estate are good investments. Watches, in general, are not. Especially the SD43 which is still a current production model.

Buy the watch to wear and enjoy, not to invest.

I do not know if the sd43 would be a future investment but is a current wonderful piece, the most handsome modern submariner and a 50th anniversary edition!!

It may, especially with Mk1 dial, but I would not be buying as an investment. Buy a watch you want to wear.

It’s already “worthy” of buying, come on now. From a popularity perspective, it seems to be more popular at least on TRF than it was when it first came out but my crystal ball is getting a new battery so I can’t tell you what it’ll do in the future

There are no guarantees on what will be collectable or we would all be rich. It does seem worthy enough to enjoy while holding its value. That's a win win to me.

Yes. When it is discontinued. Theoretically that it is.

Discontinued = no supply. If the demand for the watch is still there. Of course, there will be a price hike in the secondary mkt.

But in this watch game, you have to buy the watch you like. And wear it. Not a watch that everybody wants.

Just buy the watch if you want to own and wear it and after wearing for many years hopefully in good health. If then you need to sell it and if it gives you return on original price paid .Think of that as a bonus of owning and wearing that watch over those years. That's what owning and buying a Rolex watch should be about, it's not all about £££$$$ will this go up or down if I buy this or that or any investment.
