I tend to move a lot in my sleep, so when I'm home I usually take it off, but when traveling my watch never leaves my wrist even when I sleep

A very broad selection of answers, mine stays on as I don't have a clock radio with the time on it, the more lume the better if I wake up at night and want to know the time.

I never wear a watch while sleeping at night. We used to have a metal head board which could do major damage.

Habits vary. I take my watch off when I get home in the evening and put it back on in the morning before I leave for the day.

Wearing it at night won't hurt it. What you do is up to you.

Do not sleep with watch on. Goes on the winder at night. Use the room safe when traveling. If there is no safe I may sleep with it depending on the location.

No I only take my watches off when entering the shower or engaging in something likely to cause any damage, otherwise I wear it 24/7

I have found one advantage by taking my Explorer 39mm off at night and that is, it reduces the amount of time gain from two seconds a day to one second day or better.
At night I position the watch crown down.
So over a week it's a gain of 7 secs or better, which I much prefer rather than about 14 secs or so.
But perhaps I am over fussy about my Rolex gaining time!
