Chronomat evolution B01 thoughts?

I’m looking to buy a Chronomat evolution for my father in law. Ever since I purchased mine in 2006, he’d always mention how much he liked it and I’d catch him glancing many times.

How has the B01 movement turned out as a longer term owned piece? I remember the issues with power reserve or date not changing.

My Chronomat has been working perfectly since day 1.

Ideally, I’d like to find him another one like mine but it’s pretty hard to find one is excellent condition and preferably from the original owner.

Is the B01 movement worth it?

Mine..
