Genuine datejust?
My Hong Kong Cantonese wife's grandmother and grandmother recently passed and left a treasure trove of watches, pens, artefacts and knick knacks. Handful of 0bviosuly genuine rolex from the 70's but one that I'm unsure of.
Apologies if this is fake rubbish but I only know my subs and GMTs. And from this century. Cheers all. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk |

I should add that the watch itself feels heavy enough, but the bracelet is like tin. Some of the old ones do have that quality to them!

The markers on the glow in dark at the 5 o’clock is a bit off.
Any papers? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Looks like it could be a replica to me. Diamond markers are set crooked. Also, that sticker on the backside doesn't look authentic? Or, is that an older style of sticker? Hopefully some experts can chime in and confirm either or.

Hard to tell from the photos. I looks OK but the sticker on the back always makes me feel uneasy. They are so frequently counterfeited that seeing one is like an alarm. The diamond setting on the dial are also something to look at. Pull up other watches from the same era and compare. Frequently especially with gold bracelets the older ones were constructed lightly.

No papers. Been in cupboard for at least two decades.
Diamond markers and glo in dark are all wonky. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk |

open it and we would know more.
it may be an original watch with an aftermarket diamond dial.

Is it just me.....Or does the Rolex crown at the 12 o'clock position look crooked? Also, is the whole dial off centered? The lume plot looks closer to the rehaut at the 10 o'clock marker than it does at the 5 o'clock one?

It doesn't look right. Especially the bracelet and the endlinks.
