A lapis Submariner. I know where one is, can get it anytime but it would probably leave me empty as I have held said watch several times in the last 15 years and I seriously enjoy my visitation rights:)

+1. For me, the 116718 would have a black dial though
If we can look outside the Rolex camp, then it would have to be the Patek 3970J:

BLNR, until I recently picked one up, never thought I'd spend that much on a watch!
Now it's the BLRO, can't imagine spending that much on a watch.... You see how this works? It's a sickness I tell you! |

I have both of them: my SubC Date and my Omega SM300 MC. I'd love to add an OP in 36 (silver dial) or 39 (rhodium) someday, as well as a Speedy Moonwatch, but that's about it.

Great question. When I started with watches it was to own a SS Rolex Submariner. Done. Then it was a TT Sub, Done. Then a TT Daytona, Done. Then a YG Daytona, Done. Then a YG DD II, Done. Then a YG Blue Sunburst Sub, Done. And then a PT DD II, Done. I truly don't have a grail anymore. I am impressed with all of these watches but can truly say that each is great in it's own way but each also has its issues. So with that said I believe that I am circling back around to the PM Daytona. My first PM love and a watch that I wore for more than a decade. We will see.

An SRR Submariner (More realistic) and these two which I am lucky to already own...I love these more than my PP 5970J |
