A few over years. First was the 16803 which by the time I saved enough to acquire was a 16613 (1987). YG DD 18038 was the next one (1995). Last few years been vintage models.
Always in the back of my mind I wanted a birth year gilt Sub (1966 5513 Bart dial). I searched daily for a couple of years and finally landed one a few weeks ago. I looked at thousands of watches to find it. Took a lot of time and effort. Actually quite fitting as I turn 50 this year. The watch Gods are not without humor. I could easily wear only this one for the rest of my days. It truly is my Grail.

Birth year (1984) 5513 with maxi dial. They're around but tough to find in decent shape and usually prices through the roof...

Birth year double red 1665 in great shape, with nice looking lume pearl intact (hate seeing the vintage ones empty or some blob in there).

Tough and changes from time to time.
Would say Panerai 021 with old Rolex movement, or vintage Paul Newman Daytona |

I'm pretty content with my collection. I may still buy a few watches in the future, but I'm not drooling over anything.

Interesting to note that the first watch listed was a white gold SkyD; I wonder if any of those who list the SkyD have changed their minds with the intro of it in SS and TT? For me the SS/WG is now my grail and it's attainable.
