which would you choose? SDC4000 or BLUESY?

Which would you choose as an everyday watch?

This isn't even close. For an everyday watch, you really don't want anything as flashy as a blue Sub IMO (unless of course, you're a flashy guy by nature) YMMV

Tough call as I have both. I do find myself wearing my SD more often though.

SD4K - more discreet without the YG and hence more versalite

Awesome.
I come here to learn about watches as well as free psycho analysis.

Diagnosis:
I wear mine daily, therefore I am a flashy guy.

Where do I pay so I can submit the bill to my insurance?

Touch a nerve? LOL. My opinion stands ; it's a flashy watch. Doesn't mean that you can't like it and wear it. You can pay wherever you want.

So your psycho analysis stands.
Because you think it's a flashy watch, i am therefore a flashy guy.
Your own words:

A person you know absolutely nothing about yet can be so descriptive just solely based on a watch?

Sweet.
I'll let my wife know.
Thanks.

I'm not going to comment on the diagnosis, but if it's "free psycho analysis" as you say, why would you need to pay and submit a bill??

Thanks for accentuating the intentional sarcasm.
It's such a great analysis I feel compelled to pay.
It would otherwise feel as thievery.

Between these two, the LB would give me many more smiles, so that one. No question.

If I'm a flashy guy, I would wear flashy things. If I'm not a flashy guy, I don't wear flashy things. And I think the bluesy is flashy. That's really how I am and how I think many people are. Is flashy perjorative? Seems to me you think so.

IF you don't work that way ( or some other TRFers don't), fine! Your persuasive sarcasm is noted.

So if you like brushed SS only watches, I can arrive at the conclusion that since I think they are dull, then you are a dull guy. Right?
Not that I believe that but certainly if one follows your logic, this is the only possible conclusion.

As to your "perjorative" question, per Meriam Webster:
Flashy
ostentatious or showy often beyond the bounds of good taste; especially : marked by gaudy brightness

Not very friendly.
I don't have an issue with your personal thought it is flashy. It's your opinion. It's your taking it to describe anyone wearing it as well that you crossed the line.

Your bio says you have an 116613LN. The LB would work nicely with the LN for a TT duo. If you are moving the LN, the LB is also a nice change. I wore an LB as a daily for years, I am often described as "flashy" lol.
Most of my wrist time over the last 6 months is split between the 116613lb and 114060. Both are great and either works in a collection or solo. I would think the SD4k would work as well.
If I had to choose one, it would be the LB.

Neither. Probably would go with the 116610LN instead.

There's not many watches I would vote against the bluesy on...and the SDk isn't one of them.

Guess that makes me a flashy guy, too.

Same here, I'd rather a touch of glamour, not exactly flash, that makes me smile than a comparatively dour watch.

LOL at the Bluesy flash deniers. I walk down the street in 40K watches, no one says a word. I wear a bluesy, and the questions abound. It may not be the ONLY reason to wear one, but don't even think for one second it isn't flashy.
