DJ/DJII/DJ41 SS vs. Sports SS
Dear TRF, just wondering what would you think if you had to choose between 2 categories of SS watches:
1. The classic DJ and its larger siblings. 2. The sports models: sub-gmt-Daytona-explorer ... please don't ask me since I couldn't decide since my smaller wrists tell me to go Classic and my heart says go sport. Cheers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If this is your first Rolex, then it doesn't matter which you choose as it won't be long before you buy the other type of watch. Believe you me--I got bit by the Rolex bug

I recently bought my first Rolex and even though I really love the sports models I went for the DJII since, to me, I can dress up and down and don't feel weird wearing it with whatever I go with.

I just bought the GMT IIc but debated long and hard over getting a DJ41. In the end I chose to go with the professional line because it felt more rugged as an everyday watch. I'll likely get a Datejust too one day. Can never have too many Rolex's ;)
