I have 3 subs, I wear the Hulk and my wife wears the black ceramic. I also have an older one (20 years old) that I wear infrequently but it has great centimental value. I think if you like the Sub then having different colors gives you different looks while wearing a watch you really like.

I have two DJ41's and am thinking of adding another.

The pieces are very similar imo. But if you only wear the hulk on occasion and want a more versatile daily...then keeping the Black makes sense. |

I go for the variety. All of my watches are different.

I am a big fan of the redesigned Submariner and own 116610LN, 116610LV, 116619 and 116618LN. I would add the 116613LB to the duo. Love the redesigned GMT as well, but give the Sub a few more point.

I've never owned the same exact reference with just a different dial color. Although I've owned the same model in both 5 and 6 digits. I could see myself owning two DaytonaC's though maybe...

They're both keepers. If money is not an issue, keep adding to what you have. I'll be adding an 116618LB to my Subs soon I hope.

Although I am not among them, there are tons of folks on here with several (or more) Daytonas.

This is the plan for me. I bought a Hulk in 2017 and am waiting for my AD to receive my SD43. I think I'd add a Bluesy for the perfect Rolex dive trio.
