How many watches do you travel with?

I think you have the right idea. BLNR for travel and daytime, JLC for evenings out!

For me, it depends where I'm going, but I usually bring 2.

I may have a real problem...it's not uncommon for me to travel to the office with more than one watch.....

Just one.. the one I am going to wear. I don't trust the hotel safe or tin box they give you.
Also the hotel have a over ride key anyways.

If you have a small collection having it insured is great

Usually two. If I'm going somewhere where I might need to dress (e.g., a cruise), Sub and a dressy watch (Bluesy or 1803). If I'm just hiking or generally knocking around, Sub and Speedy.

I’ve made a decision and these two beauties are coming along with. Both are insured, but I don’t plan on loosing any!

It came down to really needing a dress watch at night. We’re big foodies and plan on taking our cuisine game up a notch.

Great question...
Personally I always try to travel with as little as possible, really bare bones. Therefore I typically choose only one watch, either my first generation 214270 or a robust sapphire crystal Submariner (circa 1981 Ref. 16800).

I basically do not think of changing my watch for a trip, i wear what i have on my whrist to travel , i only change mine just because i have to not cause I'm traveling.

If going abroad / no water - the GMT = the sport and the dress Watch is just that.

So two...or three if you include a Gshock or Seiko tossed in the bag - just in case ;-)

If you are travelling to a major city, I'd say bring a regular watch eg. Swatch or G-shock to avoid being mugged. If you are travelling to countries on the State Dept's warning list, I'd say bring one Rolex for each member of your family. That way, if you are held at gunpoint, you might be able to barter your way out of the situation and trade it for some cases of RPGs (not sure the trade value of Rolex to RPGs). I don't travel to countries with travel warnings, so I just wear my Swatch.

Generally only one watch I usually like to wear my watches for a couple weeks anyways so I just put on a new watch before I leave. Considering what a joke security is in most hotel rooms I just don't feel comfortable leaving anything of value there

I generally take 2. Look at the weather and account for a change in your wrist size which may influence your choice.
