Congrats!! This is by far my favorite Daytona, looks better than the steel ones IMO. Any idea why the steel one is way more popular and harder to get? Is it mainly because of the price?

My grail combo. I’m half way there :) was thinking of the Platona as the ultimate grail but this one looks nicer in my opinion and can save about 25k and still keep the D500 as the daily wearer. Congrats.

I would think you are correct that the price has a lot to do with it. If you can get one at retail. Additionally PM watches usually lose value. I don’t plan on flipping it so that doesn’t matter to me
