I have a 8.5" wrist and prefer 39/40mm. I do own a 42 and 41mm Tudors that are ok, But the Sub and Exp 1 are the perfect size IMO.

I prefer 36, but have 40 and above, on just over 8inches.

40 to 44mm for me but what really matters is the shape of the case and the lugs. That can make a watch look bigger or smaller, i.e the Sub and SD43.

Yes!! Im a big guy 6-3” fit. I have very flat 8” wrists. So I can pull off anything. With that said I like to stay around 45mm but I also wear a pelagos and it looks great. I know its all personal pref. But for me anything smaller than the pelagos looks silly on me. Pretty much like im wearing a ladies watch. Ive even had her comment on it when trying watches on. LoL

I thank goodness never pulled the pin on a super avenger when I was younger. All I do now is see guys wearing these 80mm sized invicta and I DO NOT want to be associated with that crowd lol. I know thats a bold statement but honestly every single person I see wearing a giant invicta is acting like a giant D.....

I have a 7.5" wrist and have slowly gone smaller. I still have my big chunky watches from my younger days, 47-52mm, now I am happy with 40 to 43mm. This is why I have the SD43 and the Hulk now.

I like a range and depends on the watch. Happy to wear a dress watch from 36mm up to sport watches topping out at 43mm.

I've been back and forth a bit on size. I'm 5'9 with small 6" wrists. Owned a 36mm Explorer and while it looked great in wrist shots, I thought it looked pretty small in person (dial was really tiny). Now own a 39mm Explorer, just barely fits my wrist but doesn't look that big in person. With that said, I'm now thinking of going back to a 36mm again. I guess the grass is always greener for me...

32 cellini to 47 Pam, all good for me. Design, history and appearance of the watch is more important to me.

Yep!!

I used to find 43-45 mm sweet spot. Now I much prefer 40-42 mm and don't own anything larger than that.

I dipped my feet in a bit when the oversized and overbuilt fad was in its peak.

Now I wouldn't own a watch over 40 mm.

For me the 40mm doesn't work. Too small. 41mm minimum and 43mm like my red SD 43
is my sweet spot....The perfect size. Which why I think Tudor 41mm GMT got it right.

Yes, same for me. Lately I prefer watches in the 36mm - 40mm range.

I wear according to how big or small my wrist is, i wear what gives my wrist a better look I think thats one of the reason we buy watches.

In my early 20’s, 44mm. As I have gotten older, my taste has leaned smaller. Dress pieces are about 36mm and sport 40mm. My Speedy Pro is the odd one out at 42mm. It’s thin profile makes it very wearable.

I have both big and small watches and all in all 36mm is what I prefer as an every day beater and always have preferred. That does not mean I do not mix it up sometimes with some 40+mm watches, but all in all my 36mm watches gets the most wrist time.

43mm is my sweet spot, I know I’m in the minority here, but I like large watches. Not the typical Rolex customer though, more like Navitimer, Panerai and IWC

Not so much taste change but educating myself. Rolex is a Classic. Classics don't change. I have 9 1/2 inch wrist. Everything wears like a ladies watch. But I know a real Rolex (Daytona) isn't big. It's got a Classic size. You can say I'm rationalizing, but it seemed like it grew onto my wrist. The Speedmaster Pro just didn't. I take that to mean, Rolex designers probably studied the envelope of practicality, and wearability. They probably figured this stuff out years ago.
