Just became a convert...the BLRO is gorgeous

Was visiting the boutique in SLC to chat with the guys and they had a BLRO (already sold of course) that they let me take a look at. I was never really a fan until today. That watch really is something. The jubilee makes it for me and the colors are unlike anything else out there. I was instantly converted to wanting one. I now understand the hype. To those that have collected yours, enjoy them and a huge congrats. Maybe one day I’ll be able to get one.

On a side note, they have 2 new 126660’s for sale (black dial) if anyone’s interested.

My favorite new watch! Even it prefer it to my two 116500's. Here are a few pics one in the sun and one in my car. The bezel really is dynamic as Tyler said in another thread and the jubilee truly sets the watch apart! Cheers,

And no filter or photoshop of course simply different lighting/setting something many seem to miss for some strange reason.

Great shots. I love the new Pepsi. I already have two GMT watches, otherwise I'd seriously consider one.

I called the instant the SLC boutique opened after the Basel announcement to get in line. I was told that I am the first on the “waitlist” at that dealer once all the VIP’s get theirs. Of course, that could be years as I have no idea how many VIP’s there are! I bought a DJ II, bluesy, and GMT II LN from them at list in the past 18 months and tried to buy a SS white SkyDweller (was quoted many month wait for that one) but that won’t get any traction of course. I guess I should be grateful that they have at least one in stock as that is one fewer VIP in front of me!

It’s fascinating that certain bezel color combinations appeal so strongly to some people and not at all to others. The blue black GMT combination grabbed me while the red blue leave me cold. I think Rolex marketing is brilliant in that they use a common core with different decorations to sell to a broader population. I bought the blue dial Yacht Master while the Sub Date just didn’t appeal yet the two watches have a common core and function.
