No date for me but I do admit that sometimes i look on my watch for a quick glance of the date, other watch on my rotation has date.

The 114060 is my only Rolex too. The date is everywhere you look if you need it. I just tell myself every morning what it is and don't forget it

I think that for the average person the date is more popular. For the WIS the ND is the one. I prefer the ND.

I think the general public will prefer a date, usually. To the hardcore enthusiast, though, the symmetry, simplicity, and clean look of the date-less dial is very appealing.
