I think this is a dressy T/T Daytona

CHNR bro. I love rose gold and I love that watch. I like the GMT but I also like the subtle earth tones of the watch.

Gmt! But by from an AD sure you pay a bit more but you build a relationship that with time will get you some cool swag and you support a local business. That’s why a lot of brick and mortar shops are closing today because of all these type of online sellers JMO

I have both. If I hadn’t had it so long, I’d sell the GMT

Of the two I prefer the GMT

But to me the GMT leans a little more to the sport side and the Sky leans a little more to the dressy side. So maybe the question is which are you more in need of, sport or dress?

Just to reiterate others here. I had a flawless transaction with David, and I would go with the CHNR myself.

I’ll have a root beer please ... from your choices!!!

Now if you’re open to one of the most iconic
TT Rolex our there that’s been proven for over
3 decades then the TT Bluesy is King !!! IMHO

Note : they’re out there but not on every street
corner , you’d be surprised...
That being said it’s not like everyone’s wearing a
blue dial Submariner, their wearing a SS Black Dial one .

You can get one that is slightly pre-owned for a nice discount and you will not lose much if you decide to sell or trade in the future. I also like the Glide Lock clasp. Blue Sunburst Dial for fun or Black Dial if you are not a blue person.
TT sub with blue dial is really something to behold...

TT is a force. After wearing a Bluesy for 18 years there is some negative associations with it. Some feel that look represents a few decades ago and they wouldn't be wrong but that is because the TT was so much in style then. Fashion is like that and who is to say TT wont be just as much of a fashion high in the next few years.

I own both....Except, the Sky in SS. Even in SS, the skydweller is a VERY loud piece. There would be nothing sporty about a two tone sky dweller, i assure you.

This however, is the nicest two tone out there. Very subtle ( for a two tone Rolex). I can't stand the bluesy.....And I couldn't even live with the full gold bluesy sub. Sold it in 3 months.

The CHNR however, is wonderful.

I say SkyD by a mile.

I tried both of these watches on back to back last week. I was a huge fan of the CHNR from pics but found myself very underwhelmed when I put it on - the rose gold just didn't sing to me and although a very nice watch, it just didn't feel "special" on my wrist.

Now the TT SkyD is a watch I had seen many times before but had never even considered. Since I am in the market for a SS SkyD (And the AD had none) I decided to try it on for kicks and was immediately blown away by how stunning it looked on the wrist. The weight, feel and overall package was so impressive to me - the complication is awesome and the command ring bezel is such a cool innovation and party trick. You can dress it up or down and it's just packed with more features and feels very differentiated from other models from Rolex. I've never been a TT fan but there is no doubt that I will be adding a TT SkyD with a champagne dial to my stable in the future.

It seems the people who don’t like TT like the CHNR. I like TT and I’d buy the Sky-D. If not, I’d get the TT GMT with the black bezel. I was just in my AD and had a close look at several RG Rolexes. Can’t say I like rose gold very much.

It’s a great watch. I had some wrist time with it and loved the brown and the rose gold. The only reason I didn’t keep it is I have determined I am a sub guy and would never have use for the GMT aspect. But no one does rose gold like Rolex. I say go for it as I am a TRF enabler !!!!

Can’t disagree with you.
While I love the new TT CHNR and am looking to get one by year end, it will never replace the place in my heart that this watch holds.
There are many references I love from Rolex but this one was my dream since mid 90’s and I have never looked back.
