Advise on submariner 116610LV in Hong Kong pre owned

Hi all, I’m thinking back and forth on buying the submariner hulk at a grey market in Hong Kong. It is pre owned from February 2018 from japan with box and paper except the tags. Price is around 88500hkd while retail is 67300hkd...
Wanted to buy rolex for a while and never did and now that I want to buy, it has become so difficult. The point is that the HKG ADs are so corrupted and do not sell to walk in customers. All SS are not available and sold to resellers in bulk and or to customer with a premium (customer they know or are been introduced too for sure to avoid rolex agents).
I guess the Asia market especially Hkg is totally different than europe and or US.... therefore a lot of frustration and no AD would entertain a waiting list for me.
Only thing is that I would like to own this model but a 20k hkd difference is a hard amount to swallow.
What are your thoughts? Do you think it is a good deal and I shall go for it? I tried to call ADs in france and only 1 store told me that they will put me on waiting list and asked for my personal info and Passport. Things is that I have been in Asia for over 14 years now and do not see myself going back to france anytime soon, except for holidays to see my parents and friends. Therefore I do not have high hopes that the AD in fr will really contact me.
I’m also trying airport ADs but it seems also that the luck is very thin....

If you want that watch, it appears from what you say, you will have to pay a premium.

Also perhaps look at the trusted sellers on this website to see if they offer a better alternative.

You gotta pay the premium nowadays. It’s not only HK I believe.

i think its a good deal considering its a 2018 hulk, with box and papers and is 10k cheaper than a brand new one.

Yep. The price seems ok compared to bnib 2018 for sure. Any of you have had more luck developing a relation with AD in Hkg or Asia particularly? Or it seems to be the Norm here? Can see a lot of people posting buying at Msrp via their dealers. Mostly from US I guess.

There are more than 60 Rolex ADs in Hong Kong. Try the places up in the New Territories, away from the tourist areas. You probably won't make any relationships, but you might get lucky.
