Just Got Burned on Ebay!

Well just want to make you aware that besides fake watches, counterfeiters on Ebay are replicating straps now I guess. I purchased this strap thinking I would save few bucks & get the camo look. I previously purchased my rubber b through their website with no issues, then came across this strap that I found very cool for my YM and was $25 less than what I paid for my white strap. As it arrived something was off. The texture was different, It was gummy silicone, it didn't have an insert like my original strap and didn't fit the lugs how it should. I scratched one of the lugs by trying to mount it & it didn't even fit. Im so pissed!

I just got off the phone with rubber b and guess what.... Rubber B doesn't make any camo straps.

I reported the seller but for sure he burned more people and they beat me to the punch because everything is gone on ebay including seller.

Being a past customer I should've known better and done research like we all do here in the forum. Just thought it would be a cool combo and impulse got the best of me. This is not touching my YM (I couldn't mount it anyway) and its going to the trash. Be aware everyone!

That's hardly a bust when price indicates everything. Did you loose one zero?

No, too dumb to even be rational maybe $5558 would have fooled someone but it was $1158. I reported the seller to ebay and pay pal. Messaged the new seller 0 feedback no answer 5 times, ads gone. I copied it to show but tapatalk is not uploading pics. for a week now. Stole the pic from Saint Blanc ad.

Thank you. I've been getting flamed for pretty much saying this same thing.

No, you've been getting flamed for acting like a child with your responses towards other members.

Did you open a claim on eBay? Usually, you can get your money back if you open a claim on eBay and follow its requirements.

You do know genuine and fake rubber B’s are almost the same right? With the exception of gen feeling a bit softer.

So apart from poor quality rubber and poor fit, yeah exactly the same. I mean I can't see why anyone would have an issue dropping a few hundred on a cheap knockoff

Actually they’re not the same.

Massive difference between cheap silicone and vulcanised rubber.
