Burglary at home - two Rolexes stolen

Long story short, my house was robbed today. Thank God my wife and baby weren't home and thank God they didn't hurt my dog. He did all he could and barked his head off at them, but unfortunately it didn't work. He's a really good boy and I'm proud of him.

They took jewelry and cash and two Rolex watches:

- F-serial no lugs Sea-Dweller 16600, serial# F738614
https://imgur.com/fR5JcqZ
- 1972 Explorer II 1655, serial# 3391605, with a luminova service dial

This was in Orange County, CA. If anyone comes across these watches please drop me a PM!

Glad you're all safe.

Your dog was lucky, I think.
Neighbours heard him barking, all the time the scum were there?

Your watches will be relatively easy to replace but as a dog lover I can't imagine being without mine. Hope they catch the b******s.

Seems like this is starting to be a more common thread, unfortunately. I'm glad everyone was safe, including the furry one. Scary stuff these days... I hope everything was insured, but even then, nothing can take away the feeling of being violated like that.

We learned from a neighbor who was burgled last year and we went ahead and got a security system. We set it every night, when we leave the house, and even when we are just hanging out at home during the day.

Good luck with the recovery.

I'm very sorry to hear, but like others stated, glad your family is safe. Keep an eye out on Craigslist to see if these idiots post them there. Also, report to local police and hope they get added to the register that pawn shops use to track stolen goods. I hope the watches make it back to you. I hope they get caught as I hate thieves and hope they get what they deserve.

Sorry about that! What sort of security did you have? Do you think they knew before hand what you had?
