They need money of coarse. You guys all know how hard it is to sell a high end watch. Especially in my city where they offer 400 at the pawnshop for a dj and 4K for pm dd

obvious fake replica even if it's 10K. I'm sorry, but if someone trying to sell me a fake item, I would erase them from my contact list. OP, your crystal is probably fake too.

Obvious how? You can’t say that without something to back it up. Btw took the watch to the Rolex store today and it is 100% authentic. I still did not buy it.

I don’t think it was acquired in a moral fashion.

What made you think its provenance was suspect? Did you find it on CL?

Similar site where you letgo of things. Before I joined this forum I wouldn’t have cared where it came from now for some reason I do care. I could not imagine my watch being stolen and purchased from an unsuspecting buyer. At least not with Rolex and the stories history behind each watch. The story from the seller was dad was a poker player and they were collecting on his “payments” whatever that means. Also I don’t want to help anyone or enable their drug habits.

I believe we have to answer for our actions on earth and when the spirit speaks I try and listen.

I would make the same decision. Couldn't live with a watch acquired through nefarious means.

Interesting
The watch "appears" to be from circa 2007, yet no rehaut that I can see?

What exactly is the serial number?

Movement looks genuine, but the photo misses the most important part to decide?

Lets see/know serial number
Adam

I've seen other V serial Kermits without the engraved Rehaut. Maybe a parts bin explanation or change was made part way through the manufacture cycle.

Possible, but REHAUT was mainly completed by then in most cases. That and a couple other points raises thoughts?
