Would the Explorer 1's 14270/114270 Mercedes hands fit an OP 34mm 114200?
Hi guys,
I am not sure if this is the right area of the forum for this question, but I was wondering if anyone with a Rolex 34mm OP 114200 had their hands changed for Mercedes hands, or if it is even possible? Thanks in advance! |

Welcome to TRF!
114270 hands will fit the 114200. Both have 3130 movements. HTH |

In terms of mounting onto the minute wheel hour wheel and seconds pinion yes. Hands for 36mm models will be a tad longer. The seconds hand will be very close the edge

Thanks 037 and Rolliworks! Glad to be apart of TRF!
Has anyone with the 34mm OP exchanged their hands with Mercedes hands? If so, how does the second hand look on the watch? Does anyone have any pictures of how it looks? |

I forgot this was 34mm. I was thinking of the 116000 where Explorer hand swaps are more common. I agree with Mike in the seconds hand likely being too long. The minute hand should fit.

i can't remember the watch but we did something like this is past for an insistent and we trimmed the seconds hands around 0.25mm and it was fine.
