Would you trade 2 for 1 watch?

Call me crazy, I traded three very hot watches for a blue 5711.
No regrets, do It.

I would do it, and Rolex is my favorite watch company. The 5711 is the most ideal luxury sports watch for me: it has beautiful finishing inside and out, keeps good time, has a Patek pedigree, is 100m wr, and most importantly: down the road when you need to restore this piece, rest assured Patek will restore it in the best way possible. They take restorations and tracking their parts seriously.
Based on what i hear about vintage Rolex watches, I'm afraid Rolex cannot guarantee the same way of treatment when your SkyD or BLNR gets vintage-old. At least for now, Rolex is not at par with Patek when it comes to restoration.. |

Absolutely do it. I love my Sub and SS BLRO. But like most everyone else has said, Patek is just on another level than Rolex. And the 5711 is the most sought after watch on the planet.
But beware going down that rabbit hole. I got my 5711 earlier this year, and have since purchased a 5167 and a 5524g. You can’t stop at just one! |

Honestly, I would keep the BLNR. 5711 + BLNR is a quite nice combo, see if the guy will trade just the skydweller plus 15K for the 5711.

Yes. As a one watch guy, the 5711 is a "one watch." It's all you need. Ever. In a few years, if you want to to get the watches you're selling, you'll easily pick up those "hot Rolex" watches. White dial Sky Ds are already selling for MSRP with greys. The others wont be hard to get. I think the 5711 will always be an in demand piece.

Absolutely. go for it. As others have said, Patek is on an entirely different level and you can always pick up a Rolex.

A very easy yes from me. I actually prefer the 5712, but the 5711 blows those Rolexes away.

Money sounds good for you if the 5711 is in good shape, complete and blue.
I’m indifferent here. Make sure you’ve tried on a 5711 before as stated above by another member it leaves many who come from Rolex especially wondering what the hell they paid for. And that was back when you could get them for 25k all day.

Oh in a heartbeat. Without the slightest hesitation.
Unless you’re like many other here who buy watches based on weight and girth, in which case stick with whatever you have and rest assured you got whatever you paid for.
