My Father’s Rolex Datejust

Hey Everyone! Just thought I’d share this picture of my father’s blue Dial Rolex Datejust! He bought it sometime in the early 1980’s and gave it to me a couple years ago! By far the most important and meaningful possession I own

I know the feeling, my Father's 1989 is my most prized possession as well. I'd never let it go.

I have my Dads mid 1980 mid size, gave it to my wife as they were close. I tried to buy her a new one and she said " no thanks ".

My father gifted me his 1963 Constellation Pie-Pan a few Christmases ago...he's had it ever since my mother was introduced to him. It was my first grail watch, and I wear it to important things as if my Dad is there with me: proposal, wedding, etc. My most prized possession by far! I bought a BLNR in 2017 and plan to one day pass it on to my son...if I have one.

My Father's Datejust

This is my fathers 1984 Datejust Quartz. Super cool, don't find these too often in SS white dial Roman.

I have a buddy with an all-gold DJ from this era that wants to sell it. I might have to do some research to see what it is worth.

Beautiful watch! I also have my fathers Rolex that he bought in the early 80s. It’s definitely a special thing to have.
