Pink dial goodness

Grand seiko dials and finishing never ceases to amaze. I love the box crystal and case. Thought I'd like the winter better, but the barely pink dial makes this one shine. Coincidentally wore my pink shorts today too.

I kind of call it an OP (or Dj) killer but I don’t think the general watch buying public agrees

Amazing. I have one on backorder and can’t wait to get it. Plan to put it on a calf skin strap.

I haven’t come across the specific name of the dial, but it was inspired by the cherry blossom, sakura, which flowers during Spring.

Love this dial! Are you still able to get GS at a discount?

Congratulations! That reference sure is BEAUTIFUL. I like the strap you changed it to.

Thank you! I like a little more weight on my watches, so the strap was a nice balance to the lightness of the watch head’s titanium. The strap is a grey calf skin (21 mm) from Hodinkee. Very happy with the pairing.

You can get discounts. In my experience much easier in person though. Helps that within an hour there are several dealers by me, though the closest one stopped carrying GS.

Does not look pink. Looks gray. Am I missing something? But enjoy it, looks great.
