1000000% agree. Rolex should expand in bracelet / strap interchangeability.

Gronefeld watches are in that USD $ 170,000 range - so for me - that's a waaaay hard NOPE. For that cost - the watch had better transform into a Porsche 997.2
Moser has something clean and classy looking about their aesthetic I really like, but their pieces are just not giving me enough to justify at that price point either. For i.e. I can get a Bauhaus style clean dial like a Junghans Max Bill for a fraction of the cost. |

My gut feeling is this brand, Laurent Ferrier, doesn't have it. No doubt a technically brilliant watchmaker behind it. But something feels off with the brand. They started out strong for sure. But feels like they are slowly giving up on it or something. It's hard to make a brand and company strong in this biz if there isn't support from 'certain people' in the elite collector, retailer/dealer and media groups. Right now they seem to be losing fans not gaining them. Just my 2 cents.

I was just coming to this thread to post on Czapek. It may not be THE next big thing, but it certainly may be MY next big thing. I've been waiting for this announcement, going to head to the website to get a better look.

Wow. Just wow. I generally don't care for the aesthetic of Moser watches, but this... this just might appeal to me than just about anything, certainly more than any Rolex I am/would be on a waitlist for.
I looked on the site and don't see this model with a bezel...is it already discontinued? Agian I don't know much of anything about the brand. This has opened my eyes a bit. Edit: Ah, bummer...42.8mm... too large for my taste...can have it all I guess, really good looking watch though. |

Has Zenith been mentioned yet? I just bought this 41mm Defy Titanium and it is awesome! Can get it on a titanium bracelet, alligator or rubber strap and has 100m water resistance with an in house movement! Unbelievable value right here from a top manufacturer.

The new Bulgari range is fantastic ,I was considering buying a gold oysterflex sky dweller, but the mark up on retail price and the long wait time made me look elsewhere.
I bought a rose gold Octo L'Originale with contrasting diamond like carbon treatment and an SS Octo Finissismo with blue dial ,both at a discount to rrp. |

With a few more months of marinating from my original post in this thread I'd say Bulgari, Moser and Czapek are really becoming the three most likely to break out, if they haven't (in some ways) already. The SS OF, Antartique and Streamliner are all doing exceptionally well in the market, and are all three are stunningly beautiful watches. Nice to see AP and PP get real competition in the segment.
