Icon20 Professional moonwatch aftermarket case back

This is a follow up of a previous post

Finally the day comes.... Today I go to a local watchmaker to change the case back on my hesality moonwatch.... Lucky me... The watchmaker don't open the watch and say this will not fit... Because is an aftermarket part... OH thank you...... can you leave open my watch I will do the work at my home (I have the tool and everything but I was afraid to do the change by myself, but this annoying watchmaker give me the courage to do so)

Long story short here is the photos.... The case fit amazing the o-ring fit perfect... The look I love it.... Best of both worlds to be honest

Today I ordered the pieces from omega (through my AD) and can’t wait to do the same!!

Yes I can't understand to be honest.... The 1861 looks amazing.... Here in my country is at least 3 to 4 months waiting time to get a omega strap... So with that said... Aftermarket was the better choice.... Ebay $115 the sapphire case and the O-ring include.... The results amazing.... And the plastic brake don't bother me at all

People used to customize Speedys all of the time when there were more parts available.
As long as you keep the original parts, I see 0 problems.
Nice looking piece.

Yeah, there's something special about being able to see the movement through an exhibition case back. I need to add a watch to my collection that has this feature

The only reason I can think of is obviously keeping it true to the original specs.

I bet you'll be spending a lot of time admiring that beauty!

To be honest yes the movement looks son nicely done and the Plus’s that I make all the change by myself gives some extra
